Renovation of Z. P. School Goratpada, Vikramgad

Hidush Foundation carried out the infrastructure renovation and development of the Zilla Parishad school at Goratpada, Vikramgad taluka, Palghar district, a CSR initiative of SICK India Pvt. Ltd., with Hidush Foundation as the implementation partner.

The team first visited the school to evaluate the scope of the project. The work began with removing the old plaster inside and outside, followed by brickwork, fresh plastering and new flooring.

The building was then painted inside and out, the electrical wiring was redone, new windows and doors were fitted, and grill work was added. Storage units and a water tank with pipelines were installed.

After the renovation, the school has a renewed front and back, a kitchen, classrooms, a corridor and toilets ready for its students.
