World Environment Day Session at SICK India
An employee session on World Environment Day at SICK India, led by Nusrat and Afzal Khatri, winners of the Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar 2007.
On World Environment Day, Hidush Foundation and SICK India Pvt. Ltd. organised an employee engagement session at SICK India, led by Nusrat and Afzal Khatri, winners of the Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar 2007.
The session spoke about deforestation and climate change, falling groundwater levels, the loss of habitat for animals, and plastic and microplastic pollution. Rishi Muralimohan, Founder and CEO of Hidush Foundation, also addressed the employees.
The key action points shared with the employees were to plant trees, save water, plan rainwater harvesting in their societies, say no to plastic, segregate dry and wet waste, and use wet waste for compost. Quiz winners received plants, and Mrs. Ranjini Pillai, HR Head of SICK India, felicitated Mr. and Mrs. Khatri.
