Renovation and Infrastructure Improvements at ZP School Vanganpada, Wada

Hidush Foundation carried out the repairs and renewal of infrastructure at the Zilla Parishad school in Vanganpada, Gargaon, Wada taluka, Palghar district, a CSR initiative of Inox Air Products Private Ltd, implemented by Hidush Foundation.

Before the work began, the school had an old roof over its classrooms, an old kitchen shed and toilet, and a worn compound wall. The old roof was removed and replaced, and new tiles were laid inside the classrooms and along the corridor.

A new washroom was built, the kitchen shed was given a new look, and a stage was constructed. The boundary wall was restored, and the classrooms, corridor and compound walls were covered in bright educational artwork.

Playground equipment was installed for the children, and the classrooms received new storage cupboards and TV sets.

A borewell was dug and a solar powered water pump was installed, with solar panels on the roofs, so the school has its own water supply.
